About
Daniel Rassp (under his stage name, "Rasspy") is a musical composer and producer from California. Although he is primarily self-taught, Rasspy later attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. His Bachelor's in Music degree in Contemporary Writing and Production allowed him to collaborate with many artists across many genres to find authenticity and relatability. Rasspy builds, invents, transcribes, teaches, and performs many instruments in search of new sounds. He also features his own vocals in many of his works. Just in the past three years alone (2022-2025), Rasspy has produced over fifteen albums. In 2023, he was featured on a collaboration with Grammy Award Nominated producer Dave Fortman (Slipknot, Godsmack, Ugly Kid Joe, Evanescence) on an album titled, "Falling" by RMB. On March 1, 2024, Daniel Rassp released his most recent solo album titled, "Echos of Farewell," and is currently available on most streaming platforms. He is expected to release a classical music album sometime in late 2025, followed by a Latin/Jazz album in 2026. Rasspy is now building his film scoring portfolio and is currently collaborating remotely with Budapest Scoring Orchestra in Budapest, Hungary.
